This 70% v/v Ethanol and Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.5% w/v is an alcohol-based hand rub for rapid skin disinfection. The solution kills a broad spectrum of bacteria, viruses, and other microbes.

It does not contain moisturizers.
 
Ethanol has long been seen as one of the best surface sanitizers known to man. It’s relatively safe, passes through the cell wall killing microorganisms instantly. The addition of chlorhexidine gluconate gives the solution a residual killing effect that lasts after the ethanol dries up.
