If you are looking for a way to completely plug the tap and make an airtight seal then you should also look at our silicone faucet, tap plug.
Ideally the best cleaning procedure is to give the taps a quick brush with this device, then spray the internal spout with Superkill Ethanol Spray then to fit the silicone faucet, tap plug.
